Birnkrant-Levine Fund

On a daily basis the Levine and Birnkrant families saw what amazing difference small extras could make in the joyful life of JAS residents. Whether it was an in house exercise program, a New Years party, flowers in the living areas, or money to hire transportation to take people to a concert. Their fund predated many of the wonderful special earmarked funds that have since been established. Some years after the establishment of our own original Quality of Life Fund, Janet and Ellsworth Levine, along with Janet’s mother, Lois Birnkrant, established the kosher meal fund for JAS residents.
