Coville offers supportive living for singles or couples over
the age of 62, who desire a warm Jewish environment.
We’re centered in a residential neighborhood, surrounded by
beautiful parks, nearby shopping and easy freeway access.
Coville is part of Prentis on the entire 2nd, 3rd & 4th floors,
on the A. Alfred Taubman Oak Park Jewish Community
Campus. Our 36 individual suites accommodate your own
furnishings and include a full private bath and kitchenette.
A cozy fireplace lounge for quiet reading, or a large screen
TV lounge along with a private dining room and kitchen
enhance each floor.
Coville Offers...
• Socialization from living with others. The benefits of
socialization include physical well-being and interaction
through participation in activities and dining with others.
• Supportive assistance including: laundry, cooking, cleaning,
bathing, medication set-up and reminders, supportive
services and activities in the community. These are provided
by geriatric and personal care staff, care managers,
gerontologists, an activity coordinator and volunteers.
Criteria for Entry
• Residents must be able to ambulate with cane or walker
within the apartment. We will push them in a wheelchair to
activities off the floor if needed.
• Mild incontinence is acceptable if the resident handles their
incontinence care themselves.
• Residents with very mild dementia and early stage
Alzheimer’s Disease can have a successful experience if
they transition here early enough. Each case is evaluated on
an individual basis.
Financial Assistance
Federal subsidies may be obtained if a resident qualifies and
funds are available. Additional subsidies are made possible
by Margot and Warren Coville and private donors.
Support Plans
Basic includes: suite with private bath, three kosher meals
daily, two assisted showers per week, housekeeping,
laundry, and medication set-up, management and reminders.
Plus is for residents who have been at Coville and need
extra assistance as they age in place (Families can provide
added care in certain circumstances).

Coville’s exceptional long-term experienced caregivers.
Coville’s own chef prepares a wide variety of traditional,
nutritious Kosher meals in our VAAD Supervised kitchen.
Case managers work with residents and family to subscribe
to any available federal, state or community services. A full
calendar of activities supports our resident’s interests.
