The Meer Apartments, located on the Eugene and Marcia
Applebaum Jewish Community Center Campus, are
only available to seniors 62 and older. Meer offers 150
one-bedroom and 48 two-bedroom market rate apartments
and subsidized apartments. The subsidized apartments
are made possible through a private endowment and are
not the same as the HUD subsidies offered at other
JAS buildings (There are no two-bedroom subsidized
apartments). Kosher meals are included with rent; one
dinner Monday through Friday. An extra-person charge
applies when more than one person occupies an apartment.
