Jewish Apartments & Services was established in 1967,
and is today a leading provider of senior housing in Metro
Detroit. There are seven buildings on two campuses;
three in Oak Park and four in West Bloomfield. JAS
serves nearly 900 elderly residents and their families
while providing market rate and subsidized senior adult
apartments as well as daily meals, transportation and
personal care assistance.

Our success in providing housing and related services is
reflective in the 1-2 year wait list of elderly who wish
to live in our buildings. One aspect of JAS that we are
especially proud of is the strong sense of community
among our senior adults.

JAS is a 501-C3 nonprofit, charitable organization.
Private contributions ensure our continued fiscal viability
and provide programming and services that directly
enhance the quality of life for our residents.
